過去颱風的長浪曾在台11線公路造成災情。例如2015年蘇迪勒颱風和2018年潭美颱風期間出現路基掏空,而2016年梅姬颱風期間則有浪襲道路的情況。故本研究收集近幾年的台11線浪襲新聞事件,並利用XBeach模式從台11線挑選出8個離海岸線較近的路段進行類颱風期間的海況模擬,藉以對台11線受到的浪襲影響作初步評估。由於新聞事件和XBeach模擬皆顯示台11線人定勝天段較容易受到浪襲影響,故利用COBRAS模式針對該路段的7個道路斷面進行不同海況條件的浪襲模擬,藉以建立情境資料庫並發展浪襲預警系統,以提供相關單位較全面的災害評估。

In the past, the typhoon abnormal waves have caused disasters in Number 11 Highway. For instance, the fundations of Number 11 Highway were exposed when the Sudil typhoon (2015) and Trami typhoon (2018) attacked, and there were wave attacks in Number 11 Highway during Megi typhoon (2016). As a result, in the study, in order to estimate the influence of wave attack, the wave attacking news were collected, and eight of which were simulated under typhoon-like situation by XBeach. Due to the news and XBeach simulation have showed that the Jentingshengtien section in Number 11 Highway is likely influenced by wave attacks, we simulated seven cross sections of the Jentingshengtien section under different situations by COBRAS model. This method can build a situation database and develop the wave attack early warning system to estimate the hazard. In addition, refer to the assimilation method of Ou et al. (2004) to assimilate and modify the significant wave height forecast of SWAN, so as to improve the accuracy of the Taidong Coastal Highway wave attack warning system.
