Improvement of hazard countermeasures for coastal roads of Provincial Highway No. 9

探討台9線海岸公路易產生「公路溢淹」災害之區段,並進行該災害類型之相關分析。依據所擇取海岸段環境與水深地形特徵,藉由潮位與波浪等之海象蒐集資料,配合本計畫近域劃分範圍,進行各區域海岸線況波浪數值模擬與分析,並透過相關溯上公式推算海岸公路沿岸波浪溯升之情況及越波量,藉以檢討現有海岸防護設施之安全性海水溯上之情況,並劃定公路溢淹災害潛勢區段。另透過地形變遷數值模式評估研究區域中長期地形變遷情況,以瞭解侵蝕與淤積潛勢情況,並繪製侵淤災害潛勢區域。

Investigate sections on coastal roads of Provincial Highway No. 9 which are vulnerable to inundation and analyze corresponding hazard types. According to the selected coastal environment and deep terrain features, data on the state of the sea, such as tides and waves, have been collected. Detailed numerical simulations have been carried out, and the runup heights and overtopping values are estimated using the existing formula to identify the potential inundation areas of Provincial Highway No. 9 and to revisit the applicability of existing infrastructures which are originally designed to protect the coastal roads. In addition, morphological modeling is applied to help identify the erosion and deposition trends of the selected coastal road sections, and the hazard maps are also provided.
